Struck with injury crisis especially in the midfield, the football giants that no one would like to play with due to their ball possession and control was gradually falling before the eyes of everyone. Infact, most clubs seem to be fighting hard to take advantage of this loopholes in the midfield before the giants come back to their feet again. Number of goals conceding recently is a testament to this that the blues are on a Verge of free fall if Thomas Tuchel doesn't find solution as soon as possible.
The Blues did their best yesterday against Leeds united to claim three points even though they are yet to show their classical performance as we knew them. However, their fighting spirit yesterday showed that they still have winning mentality which is very important for any club to be on top of its game. It also shows that they are still the giants to be afraid of due to unpredictability of their pace, pressure and line up.
The Champions League winners will the hoping to block the loopholes either by recalling their players on loan or buy more players during the January transfer window. The uncertainty surrounding the fitness of Kante, Chilwell and Malang Sarr beckons for new midfielder, left back and additional defender. With this they will still remain the fearful giants and favourite to win Premier league and Champions League.

In the nutshell, Chelsea are not to be underated due to the quality of the young stars in their current team, the fighting spirit ingrained in them by their 'no nonsense' coach and they are still the favourite to win the Premier league once the injury crisis is solved
