Who am I?

I'm Paulo Júnior, cast as Pjay. I'm 25 years old, I was born in Santo Antônio de Pádua, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and I moved to Macaé when I was 12. My first contact with skateboarding was an unexpected event: I found a skateboard on the street and went home. From that moment on, I didn't want to know anything else and started skateboarding every day. The neighborhood where Morava lives, Miramar, has a great influence on the world of skateboarding, among many skaters from the old Moravian era. So, I started to walk like them and to merge more and more into this universe. "This journey has lasted 13 years, always loving and living that landscape.

In 2018, Pipa Souza's first video was released, a great sign that skateboarding owes me and that it is a reference for me.

I had some friends who helped me learn and develop in the world of skateboarding, from filming and editing to improving my skills.

Since then, we have invested in the first Barracãoshop project, which has always supported me and encouraged me to continue. This partnership has been fundamental to achieving two of my goals outside of skateboarding.

Together with Nogenta, who I met here at skatehive, I received all the support I needed to make this happen. In 2020, at Nogenta we launched a project that you had the honor of participating in, called “DA PONTE PRA LÁ”.
