My Actifit Report Card: April 2 2023
Hello everyone 😁 how was your day today? I am back once again to report on my actifit activity today yay 😁
This morning I woke up late even with the alarm... I guess I was that tired to have not woken up. Usually I arrive at my walking location still dark but as you can see it's already quite bright. I saw the golden hour in the horizon so I guess I missed the twilight for today 😭
But for some odd miracle something magical happened. I may have missed the twilight this morning but this light and colorful show right in front of me was really amazing. The skies suddenly turned red like it was twilight but it wasn't as mesmerizing as the twilight red but something different. I don't know the exact term for this phenomenon but man it was stunning. Add that little light cut on the left side where it looks like something has cut that fan like light.

I love seeing posts from the Philippines, especially beautiful places like yours. I'm Canadian but often travel there and tell my friends...The Philippines are beautiful... you just have to get out of Manila :)
The picture of the cornic is great. P2 is very cheap by Canadian standards an the portion size is awesome. Tiny enough you get a taste but not so large you get fat..hehe...
As for inflation: My parents in law are filipino and I hear about the old days when a dozen eggs were P3. I doubt that would even get you a single egg there now.

It's good to hear that you love the Philippines sir. Yes if you really want to enjoy your stay in the Philippines then I would really suggest getting out of the major cities coz it's outside the cities is where the Philippines truly shines.
Everything here in the Philippines is cheap compared to foreign currencies, just imagine you can already buy a decent meal for P10 or roughly $0.2 USD from where I live. I can live by $0.6 a day for food I doubt any place can beat that price 😅
Yeah inflation really sucks but like I said most people really don't know it even exists. They just complain about the prices of good increasing and they don't know why.

OK. I have to ask. What is a P10 meal in your place? I have a home in Tuguegarao area and recently returned from a trip to Iloilo. I'm frugal but never even came close to a P10 meal while there. 😀
A P5 Rice and a P5 of any of the following: Bihon, 2 to 3 pcs of Vegetable Lumpia Shanghai, Monggo, Stir Fried Talong and Bittergourd to name a few. While most are stores selling these at P10 but there are still some stores where you can buy them for P5 😁 especially the ones who have a direct supplier from the farms. I'm quite frugal so I know all the stores here that sells food for cheap and it's not the cheap dirty type you see in major cities but the cheap but clean food. I live in a place where vegetables are for a bargain so it's understandable why food here is quite cheap.
That said if you can stomach a bland almost tasteless food then you can have a decent meal for P10 I mentioned above. Honestly I like it better coz I can season my food to my taste, I just add a little soy sauce or salt and my stomach is happy 😁.
