Forest Walk - My Actifit Report Card: November 1 2021
Hi Actifitters!
New month, new goals, new hopes... Stepping into the new month is always like opening a new page in the book, or better said, the new blank page in the notebook... It's time to write a new chapter and the best of that is that it can be completely different than the previous one...
Today I had a very active day as I wasn't at home almost the whole day... My wife, son, and I went on a visit to our friends in Valencia, but we have met each other outside in nature! The meeting point was a mountain near Valencia where we went for a nice long walk... As it is autumn, and the mountain had a lot of vegetation the air had that specific forest-humid mood... That reminded me of my childhood when I was going fishing early in the morning with my grandfather...
The weather was perfect for hiking and I went in shorts and a T-shirt... Yes, I know we are in November, but I like to enjoy it until the last moment... :) I have taken a lot of photos there, but I had to pick just a couple of them as this post would be huge... Because of high humidity, we have found a lot of mushrooms and the "shroom of a day" was that red one that you can see... The name of the mushroom is Clathrus ruber and Wikipedia says that it's not poisonous, but, because of its disgusting look and taste, not many eat it... :)
After a walk in the forest, we went for lunch to the house of our friends... Later, we went for a walk around the town where they live and hit the road back home when it was already dark... As we have moved the clock one hour backward, it's getting dark around 6:30 PM... When I got home a bunch of work, messages, emails were waiting for me...
