Sportstalk||Cole Palmer not included in the EPL team of the season despite his amazing stats.

I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

It's not a new thing that EPL and FA have always been accused of many controversies in the past till this moment, ranging from their official representatives anchoring matches with load of errors on so many decisions despite the introduction of video assistant referee(VAR) to FA dishing out fine and punishment offenders inconsistently. In a nutshell, consistency hasn't been the watchword of anything that has to do with EPL and EFA.

Yesterday night was the PFA award 2024 which witnessed loads of star players in attendance. Players like Cole Palmer, Erling Haland, Phil Foden, Saliba, Kyle Walker, Martin Odegaard etc were all present in the award ceremony. This award night saw Phil Foden won the PFA player of the season while Cole Palmer won the PFA young player of the season with amazing stats of 23 EPL goals and 10 EPL assists making 33 goals contribution.

The controversial aspect of the PFA awards night.

All the award the PFA awarded to the players mentioned above are well deserved but the PFA team of the season was where I feel there's a slight misconduct and unfair pick.

THE PFA XI ARE

DAVID RAYA
KYLE WALKER
VAN DIJK
WILLIAM SALIBA
GABRIEL MAGALHAES
BEN WHITE
MARTIN ODEGAARD
RODRIGUEZ
PHIL FODEN
ERLING HALAAND
OLLIE WATKINS

All these pick were amazing picks but how on Earth would a player with the most goal contributions(goals and assists) wouldn't be included in the PFA XI team of the season? It seems and sounds unfair to be honest, what else does he needs to do be included in the XI? At least, Cole Palmer deserves it to be included in the PFA team of the season in all ramifications.
