Croatia is in the Hanball World Championship Final

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

Today, Croatia defeated France in the Handball World Championship semi-final match! 😍

It was another nerve-wracking match, as they've all ever been. Every clash of handball titans - Croatia and France (popularly called "Handball El-Classico") is the most-watched TV event in Croatia.

Matches between the national handball teams of France and Croatia represent one of the greatest rivalries in the history of international handball and certainly the biggest handball rivalry since Croatia got its independence.

We managed to hold the lead throughout the entire match, though France dangerously closed the gap several times. But our boys kept their cool and extended the lead each time. 💪

The player of the match was Zvonimir Srna, who scored the most goals in the game (the guy in the cover image), but our goalkeeper was also absolutely amazing. With his saves in crucial moments, he broke France’s momentum and crushed their morale.

In the finals that will be played on Sunday, Croatia is waiting for the winner of the Denmark - Portugal match.
