Concert in the Park: May 25 2024

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

Today, our eldest daughter had a performance with her string orchestra at a concert in a park in the city center.

She plays the violin, so the whole family came to support her and also to enjoy the beautiful day, play in the park, and listen to the wonderful music.

The park is situated between residential buildings and a street, with cafes lined up along the entire length of the park, so parents can enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee while keeping an eye on their offspring.

The concert started with the youngest performers, the children's choir, who performed a few of their songs.

After them, it was the city brass band's turn to perform. They played several traditional songs about our city.

After them, it was time for the performers from our music school. First, the wind orchestra with a few performances, covering popular pop songs. They were really entertaining.

A guitar duet, two little boys with guitars almost bigger than they were. They were adorable, but played only one song.

And the icing on the cake, the string orchestra, in which our daughter plays. They played two pieces and received the biggest applause from the audience.

The concert continued into the evening, but our children were already tired, so we headed home.
