Tomas Tuchel will coach England squad, strange choice!
Very strict coach
After the resignation of Gareth Southgate, the Three Lions were still without a head coach. Today the rumours were confirmed that that man will be, a German, in the form of Tomas Tuchel.
A man with experience, he led Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC, Paris Saint-Germain, Red Bull Leipzig, … So, he has experience at the top level. But he is also known as “The Laptop” coach, because of his enormously data driven approach. And he is a very strict man. A tough combination with the stars and creativity of the current English selection. Will he be able to make Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish,… play freely and make their talents stand out? Or will he play a form of football that is based on discipline?
I don’t see the combination yet, but I could be wrong…
Time will tell!
