No score board journalism

Spain won 3-0 from Croatia tonight in Berlin, but the score really doesn’t reflect the game. First of all, Spain had some luck with their goals and second, Croatia had chances to score at least three goals too.

So, no score board journalism from me, it could have easily been a draw there.

Then Italy played against small brother Albania and was down 0-1 after only 23 seconds. They could turn it around. But it shows their weakness, they don’t have a Bonucci, Chiellini, Nesta or Cannavaro anymore. Italy is not as sturdy as it used to be. What will happen if they play the big teams?

Football is a weird game, and tonight shoed that Spain and Italy are weaker than the score makes you think!
