Professional cycling treats it’s riders as slaves…

UCI takes the money…

UCI, the official organisation for all professional cycling all over the world sells the television rights, takes in the sponsorship deals, but pays almost nothing back to the teams and the riders. The teams have to finance everything themselves and pay their riders from own sponsorship deals.

In return you would expect that the organisation of the races would be perfect, as it is the responsibility of the UCI. But even that is lacking. They cash and use the riders as monkeys in a circus.

On Saturday, the team time trial of the Tour of Spain was held in the dark, and with the extreme rain that fell, it was completely irresponsible to ride in these conditions. But it all went through. Result, one rider fell and broke his hip. Laurens De Plus from team Ineos his Tour was over after one kilometre.

Today, the first mountain stage was held. In the sprint of the Grand Classification riders, Remco Evenepoel won the sprint magnificently. But the disaster struck, after the finish he crashed into people that had no business being there just after the finish! Result, big crash and a head injury…

The worst sports organisation

UCI must be the worst organiser of any sport in the world. Riders are used as slaves, and they cash in on them. Despicable…

Sincerely,

It is a fact that when a person likes to do something and wants to make it compulsory in his life, he does everything for it, even by selling his things, he fulfills his passion.

Such a shame, why they treat their champions like that? they should value them as they are the source they are earning money.
