Sad but proud

Cercle Brugge KSV is a small club, especially compared to the big European powerhouses like Real Madrid, PSG or Manchester City. But even in Belgium we are one of the smaller teams.

So, when one of our players can make a huge transfer to the Major League Soccer for a record transfer amount we are proud. 16,5 million euros are paid by Cincinnati FC to our beloved Cercle for our striker Kevin Denkey.

The player from Togo has scored over 60 goals for us, in 4 seasons. Last season he was top scorer of the league and took us to the UEFA Conference League. In which he also has scored already.

We will miss him, but we are happy for him and his family. He will definitely be a major upgrade for Cincinnati FC!
