Netflix real loser of hyped fight
Streaming sports
The hype of the century, the boxing match between Jake Paul and his 31 year older opponent, Mike Tyson, was. Eventually Jake Paul won after 8 rounds. But the real loser of the game is Netflix…
Netflix had the rights to the fight, their very first live sports coverage ever. The game was hyped even more than possibly thought by Netflix. But by that, Netflix shot in their own foot. Millions of Netflix subscribers couldn’t watch the game because of bad connection due to overload of the servers. Very bad publicity for a network that wants to stream NFL games in the future!
The game was not worth watching, but that’s besides the point. Most that wanted to watch, couldn’t and that’s just horrible publicity…

Fact, I didn’t have the urge to watch it at 5 AM either, luckily
I was with some friends drinking beer and one of them was excited about the fight, he even put it on the TV, but I was so bad, that even he couldn't watch it enterely, jajaja
