Liverpool: Eight points clear at the top, is it finally their year? | Football News | Sky Sports
I don't know what Phil Neville has been smoking, but saying the competition is already decided in the first week of October is not something I would expect from a pundit like him.
What Liverpool is doing is great, and they did it last year too. They are clinical and almost lose no points. But I have seen some downsides already. The loss against Napoli in the Champions League and the last minute win this Saturday tell that it can go wrong for Liverpool too. And for City, well, Guardiola is a perfect timer, he gets his team in best form for money time, just like last year. Where Liverpool was in front for a long time too, but eventually City took it home...
So, Phil Neville, maybe you better stay away from the hasheesh for a while...
Sincerely,

It is really early for us to count City out of the title!!!
I do not trust Liverpool especially when they have Champions Legaue, FA cup and EPL games concurrently.
This can be their lucky year if they continue winning up-to December of January.
You said it all here....we shall have to wait til December to see where the trophy is headed.
Phil Neville is very upset that we're talking about Liverpool and City. United fans are in deep right now. Practically in the relegation zone and the two most hated clubs historically sit as Europe's top 2 with a mountain between them and third.
Indeed, a jealous voice, nothing less, nothing more...
I think they'll win this season. They're pretty solid in terms of talent and composure. What I like about Klopp's management is that the players are happy with their position and understand their role to help the team win.
Mane, Salah, and Firminho are all in good position and already developed a deep relationship with each other.
