The Electronic Arts franchise, Football Manager was released first in 2004. Before that it was called Championship Manager. Now today, the 20th version of the game is released, Football Manager 2024. The series gets more and more fans every year. Approximately 6 million people will buy the new release. Which is huge for a computer game.

The key to the success of the game is the incredible database of the teams and the players that is available in the game. Even the future abilities of young players in the game have been proven to be extremely correct. To that extent that the game is evdn used in scouting for professional football clubs, as the data is so realistic.

Incredible evolution

Since 2004, the game has gone through sn immense evolution visually. From red and blue dots hopping around the pitch to realistic players playing the game in the simulation.
Also the gameplay has become very realistic, with even psychological issues of the players and coaches need to be taken into context. Issues with players’ agents, contracts and personal sponsors, etc… it is all embedded in the game these days!
