League 2 End of Season Report

It has been three seasons since we were promoted to League 2. It has been a bumpy ride so far. We finished mid table with 51 points in Season 69. The final result of Season 70 was a bit of a surprise finishing our second season at the bottom of the league just above relegation. This was due to the loss of a few decent players on expired contracts, making the OS of the team dropped by a couple of points. This obviously made a big difference to the performance of the team. We only won three away matches, drew another three and the rest were losses. However, we bounced back this season with 54 points sitting at 4th place in the League.

There were only three points difference between the promoted team and the runner up. It was very tight for the chasers. There were only 3 points between the 3rd and 6th place.

We have improved our Stadium and Catering to level 7, hotel and parking to level 6. For the first time in six seasons, our business has become profitable. Our squad currently has 20 players with an average age of 24 and an average OS of 49. The stadium is fully utilised but we won’t have the money to upgrade it further. We will continue to improve other areas of the ground.

I would consider this season a success and will continue to build steadily.
