Borderline Slavonice 1938

the year is 1938, over 100,000 soldiers leave the border fortresses without a fight. This is what the Munich Agreement preaches about us without us.
Believe that the enemy would break like water against a cliff for this fortification.

I went to air out my Honda on a beautiful Saturday. From Třebíč I went to southern Bohemia to the border defense museum in Slavonice. On the spot, a great walk through the forest with fortifications from the Second World War period awaited me.
The place captured my heart and left me with different emotions. I definitely recommend visiting.
Everything was properly described and marked, maintained. At the end of the day I was with Rocky and it gave us a nice 20 thousand steps again.

Píše se rok 1938, pohraniční pevnosti opouští přez 100 000 vojáků bez boje. Tak o nás bez nás káže Mnichovská dohoda.

Věř že by se o toto opevnění, nepřítel rozbil jak voda o útes.

Krásný sobotní den jsem byl vyvětrat svojí Hondu.
S Třebíče jsem vyjel do jižní Čech k muzeu pohraniční obrany Slavonice.
Na místě mě čekala super procházka lesem s opevněním s období druhé světové války.
Místo mě chytlo za srdce, a zanechalo ve mě různé emoce.
Určitě doporučuji navštívit. Vše bylo řádně popsano a značeno, udržováno.
Nakonec dne jsem byl s Rockym a dalo nam to opět krásných 20 tisic kroků.

Super report! A byl by ještě o něco zajímavější, kdybys zkusil vychytat ty gramatické hrubky, které se v něm objevují. Jsi přeci jen voják, ne šesťák ;)

Opevnění je fascinující. Hlavně ty těžké sruby na severu republiky. Viděl jsem Dobrošov i Stachelberg a klobouk dolů...
Mám rád i malé řopíky, co máš na fotkách. Nedaleko mám Plzeňskou čáru opevnění.
Byla velká chyba to všechno nechat Hitlerovi bez odporu. Pak se tady slušně vyzbrojil a spojencům vrátil Mnichov i s úroky.
O to, jestli jsme se měli bránit, se vedou věčné spory. Útok Němců by nejspíš byl vedený přes linie lehkého opevnění, nikoliv přes těžké, jak bylo původně plánováno. A řopíky proti tankům nebyly příliš odolné.
Každopádně vůle a síla bránit se byla obrovská. Národ by to nevzdal. A třeba by se pak přidali i spojenci, kdybychom to udrželi.
