Hola, querido hiver.

Seguro que has notado la gran diferencia que hay en el valor de nuestro voto con la subida de pocos centavos en el precio del Hive. ¿Será que comienza a remontar? Nadie lo sabe, por lo que mi estrategia no cambia: acumulo tanto como puedo y el que no llega en forma de HP lo enciendo. Esto incluye cambiar casi todo el HBD que recibo de las recompensas. Se nota tanto como que he superado la cifra del mes anterior y me quedan días para que esa diferencia sea mayor.

Si hace poco que has llegado a Hive, te advierto de que he invertido incontables horas leyendo para aprender de la experiencia de los que me precedían. Añádele más horas de reflexión, planificación y organización de lo que iba a hacer, otras tantas de la ejecución y, de postre, regresa a la reflexión tras obtener resultados, deseados o no. Lo que me ha dado nueva información que aprender, y vuelta a empezar la rueda.

Lo que quiero decir es que no te dejes deslumbrar porque recibas un voto enorme de vez en cuando. No estarán ahí siempre. Busca tu propio sustento, tus contactos y amistades, ofrece tu ayuda a otros. Da y recibirás. Si esperas ser siempre el que reciba, te deseo la mejor de las suertes. Es probable que la necesites. Hive no es diferente de la vida real.

Mi reflexión

Me encanta la lógica apabullante que se gasta Epicteto en sentencias como la de hoy. Cuando ante un problema pruebas una solución y no sirve, es posible que la ocasión no fuera propicia o que no lo hayas enfocado de forma adecuada. Pero si repites la solución y vuelve a fallar, ¿qué te hace pensar que acertarás en un tercer intento?

Trazamos patrones sin darnos cuenta, buscando un ahorro de energías que nos permitan utilizarlas para cosas que nos importan más. Sin embargo, es necesario evaluar de vez en cuando si las rutinas y formas de actuar ante la vida están sirviendo o no. Es fácil caer en las redes de esa comodidad en la que no hay que pensar y dejarnos llevar por las modas o las apetencias. No es mi norma.

Cuando caminar en una dirección nos conduce adonde no deseamos, la solución es clara: cambiando la dirección modificarás la meta. Así pues, si una costumbre adquirida deja de ser funcional para nuestros objetivos, es momento de modificarla y explorar nuevas opciones. Al principio nos cuesta mucho esfuerzo, sentiremos las agujetas como si de la falta de ejercicio se tratase. Persistir se convertirá en la clave para el éxito, que tras un tiempo prudencial asomará por el horizonte. Es entonces cuando nos sentiremos capaces de apretar el acelerador y alcanzar nuestra pequeña gloria.

Por la mañana: paseo con el perrito, compras y labores domésticas, curación de contenidos, escritura.

Por la tarde: curación de contenidos, tareas variadas de Hive, paseo con mi marido y el perrito.

I am sure you have noticed the big difference in the value of our vote with the rise of a few cents in the price of Hive. Is it starting to pick up? Give and you will receive. If you expect to always be the recipient, I wish you the best of luck. You will probably need it. Hive is no different from real life.

My reflection

I love the overwhelming logic that Epictetus uses in sentences like today's one. When you try a solution to a problem and it does not work, it is possible that the occasion was not propitious or that you have not approached it in the right way. But if you repeat the solution and it fails again, what makes you think that you will get it right on a third attempt?

We trace patterns without realising it, seeking to save energy so that we can use it for things that are more important to us. However, it is necessary to evaluate from time to time whether or not our routines and ways of dealing with life are working. It is easy to fall into the nets of that comfort where we don't have to think and let ourselves be carried away by fashions or cravings. This is not my norm.

When walking in one direction leads us where we don't want to go, the solution is clear: change the direction and you change the goal. So, if an acquired habit is no longer functional for our goals, it is time to change it and explore new options. At the beginning it will take a lot of effort, we will feel the aches and pains as if it were a lack of exercise. Persistence will become the key to success, which after a reasonable time will appear on the horizon. It is then that we will feel able to press the accelerator and achieve our little glory.

Afternoon: content curation, various Hive tasks, walk with my husband and the puppy.
