¡Qué jornada de Champions hemos vivido ayer! Ya tenemos a cuatro equipos clasificados para los cuartos de final: Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Múnich e Inter. De estos, solo el PSG aún no ha conquistado el título, y precisamente por ahí deberíamos comenzar, destacando la sorpresa que ha dado hoy. L'Equipe, el prestigioso diario deportivo francés, quizá el más relevante a nivel mundial, ya lo anticipaba al describirlo como una "Misión Imposible".

A lo largo del encuentro, hubo varias acciones de los Reds que podrían confundirse como oportunidades legítimas, pero que en realidad no lo fueron. Aun así, el equipo de Arne Slot contó con un brillante Mohamed Salah, especialmente en los primeros cinco o seis minutos del partido, en los que obligó a Donnarumma a realizar intervenciones espectaculares.

Ese retraso en cumplir con sus deberes les costó caro, obligándolos a pasar por los playoffs, donde el sorteo los emparejó con el Liverpool. Es válido preguntarse si debería haber una mayor protección para el equipo mejor clasificado en la fase de liga. Tal vez, podrían enfrentarse directamente al equipo con peor rendimiento entre los clasificados y dejar el resto del sorteo abierto. Un sistema en el que los primeros y segundos de la fase de liga se midan contra los últimos dos clasificados podría ser una opción para ofrecer una ventaja a quienes lideraron la primera parte del torneo.

No se trata solo del último partido de la Premier League, donde pareció despertar ante el Southampton, sino de un desgaste evidente que lo dejó expuesto ante un verdadero equipo. El PSG pudo haber sentenciado la eliminatoria antes, pero su inconsistencia se hizo notar. Dembélé, por ejemplo, mostró todas las facetas que lo definen: fue lo suficientemente bueno como para marcar, aunque su gol llegó tras un error de Konaté, pero también lo suficientemente errático como para desperdiciar contragolpes, tomar malas decisiones y fallar pases clave. Sin embargo, al final, convirtió el penal y protagonizó un emotivo abrazo con Luis Enrique, reflejando el significado de este triunfo para el equipo.

Vi solo una parte de este encuentro: los últimos 15' del primero y todo el segundo tiempo, en ese lapso el Liverpool dominó casi a voluntad y donde solo la actuación brillante del arquero Donnarumma evitó el empate. Por lo tanto, no estoy del todo de acuerdo contigo, por momentos el PSG estaba totalmente desorientado y quizás los ayudó en parte los cambios, a mi modo de ver errados, que hizo el DT de los Reds.
Me gustaría ver aquí comentarios de otros que hayan visto la película completa @nameless16, @davidpena21, @musicandreview, @cjlugo, solo por mencionar a los que más conozco activos con este asunto del fútbol europeo.

El PSG no mereció perder el primer encuentro y fue perjudicado por el arbitraje en ese juego al momento de que Konaté no es expulsado lo cual seguramente hubiera cambiado el resultado final en la ida, ahora en el segundo juego, el PSG fue beneficiado por el VAR al no señalar el fuera de juego previo al gol de Dembélé; ahora con respecto a que el PSG jugó mejor, creo que Donarumma, Vitinha y Pacho fueron por lejos los mejores en todo el partido, entre ellos tres mantuvieron el resultado a favor y en muchas jugadas evitaron el gol del Liverpool que significaba la eliminación.
En mi opinión el PSG fue dominante el en encuentro de ida y pudo cinta con una magistral actuación con los tres jugadores antes citados; con respecto al Liverpool, decepcionante desempeño de Salah, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Jota y por supuesto Darwin, ninguno tuvo el nivel de Mac Allister que si estaba convencido en pasar a otra fase más.

STOPNuevamente el equipo de la ciudad de los Beatles queda a deber y los del PSG pasan cuando quizás, menos posibilidades tenían para hacerlo.
Para ganar una Champions no puedes pretender tener esa falta de aciertos y solo anotar un gol en más de 180 minutos.
De ser el maximo candidato a títulos en la temporada, hasta ahora, el Liverpool solo tiene casi ganada la Liga Premier, pues en la copa de su país fueron eliminados.

La eliminatoria fue dominada en gran parte por el PSG, y siendo justos, merecieron el pase a cuartos, lo que habla muy bien de lo hecho por Luis Enrique con este equipo, pues recordemos que los parisinos estuvieron por fuera de los mejores 24 en varias jornadas de la fase de grupos.
Los Reds intentaron mas en su estadio y con su gente, pero cuando mejor jugaron, el PSG empató, algo similar a lo visto en Francia, otro punto que nos habla de lo impredecible que puede ser este deporte.
Ya por ultimo, esta es tal vez la segunda vez que veo un PSG que juega como un equipo, mas alla del peso individual de Dembele, que la esta rompiendo este 2025, Vitinha y Pacho son ejes en sus lineas, lo que da mucha solvencia, aunque creo que aun no han llegado a su tope, veo por momentos muchas acciones erradas, que podrian ser definitorias en una eliminatoria futura.
