After the first blow came two more, Luis Diaz who was vital in Klopp's second half revolution when he came on for Diogo Jota, the Colombian brought pace to the left flank and was instrumental in almost every Reds attacking combination; just 5 minutes after Fabinho's goal a wonderful cross from Alexander-Arnold with his less educated foot opened the door for Diaz to finish past Rulli who again slotted the ball through the middle of his legs.

Liverpool have only lost three times in their 56 games this season, their repertoire of attacking options is outrageous, they have an absolute potency in the face of goal and the number of ways they have to get to it is almost infinite; 156 goals so far this season and they are installed in the Paris final with options to continue fighting for the Premier League, with the FA Cup final also on the doorstep and having been crowned champions of the Carabao. The Reds are in with a chance of winning it all.

fue un partido muy bueno, ciertamente la afición y Emery deben estar conformes con la actuación de su equipo que por momentos compitio de igual a igual con uno de los mejores equipos de la actualidad, el Villareal debia jugar un partido perfecto de inicio a fin para poder clasificar, en momentos lo consiguio pero Klopp y los suyos se encargaron de torcer el destino a su favor

Un partido vibrante en el que el Submarino hizo unos primeros 45 minutos de libro de texto, anularon el "Rock and Roll" de los Reds, pero cuando Klopp y los suyos subieron las notas al Heavy Metal se volvieron incontenibles. ¡Merecidos finalistas! For me, It was always certain that Liverpool would make it to the final but what I am after now is to see if Salah's wish would come to pass tonight by having Real Madrid qualify for the final.

If ever that old chestnut "a game of two halves" applied it was on Tuesday night. Liverpool were a completely different team in the second half and obliterated the yellow submarine.
I full agree with you @ablaze! It was a different Liverpool during the second half; the Reds upped their tempo ans they were impossible to contain.
Ya Liverpool were out Liverpooled in the first half with the high press from Villa Real, but they couldn't sustain it in the second half, they ran out of legs, but it was a gallant effort to be fair..
Está eliminatoria fue emocionante apesar del favoritismo del Liverpool; Klopp habló del estado físico de sus jugadores y de la mentalidad y su fútbol, pero yo soy los que piensa que justamente eso, el estado físico que está su equipo es lo que los hace estar a un nivel mayor que los demás y en esta eliminatoria fue fundamental porque el Villarreal jugó 90 minutos de los 180, 45 minutos en Anfield dónde aguanto un 0 a 0 y los primeros 45 minutos de local en dónde dieron esperanzas a sus aficionados, lamentablemente su condición física no fue la mejor y por eso cayeron.
El otro factor fue el mal desempeño de Rulli, eso terminó con todo.
Justamente, querido @nameless16... el estado físico del Liverpool y como es que lo explotan en el desarrollo de sus encuentros, los caminos que encuentra el conjunto de Klopp para llegar al gol tienen su fundamento en la dinámica posicional de sus jugadores, ¡Nunca están quietos! Lo de Rulli es una pena, ha fallado en el día menos indicado para fallar.
