LAS CLAVES UNA BOCHORNOSA GOLEADA PARA LA HISTORIA (ANÁLISIS TÁCTICO) [ESP/ENG]
"Un resultado extraordinario, una actuación excelente. Creo que la forma en que empezamos el partido fue realmente especial, la mejor en mucho, mucho, mucho, mucho, mucho tiempo. El Manchester United se ha llevado un fortísimo baño de realidad, un puñetazo en la cara para el proyecto de ten Hag que ha dirigido 481 encuentros en su carrera y ayer, en Anfield recibió la derrota más abultada como entrenador en cualquier competición. Anfield es un Infierno en el que los Diablos Rojos carecen de potestad, autoridad o jurisdicción alguna desde hace un buen tiempo. Los demonios de Manchester se reducen en simples almas en pena toda vez pisan Anfield, los últimos quince goles realizados en el el Templo de Liverpool en el marco del Clásico inglés han sido todos para el mismo equipo, los Reds de Jürgen Klopp.
De nada han servido los 10 puntos de diferencia con los que llegaba el United sobre el Liverpool en la clasificación de la Premier; no hubo atisbo alguno de los marcados contrastes entre el estado de forma de los dirigidos por ten Hag y los muchachos de Klopp. Sobre la grama de Anfield, vimos a un Liverpool de otros tiempos, el Liverpool del Rock N’ Roll Football y su Heavy Metal Gegenpressing, pasarle por encima al Manchester United para propinarle una de sus peores derrotas en sus 145 años de historia. El primer tiempo del United no fue malo, hubo orden defensivo, e incluso un par de ocasiones para ponerse en ventaja en el marcador para el conjunto visitante, pero en la segunda mitad, aconteció una compleja debacle que buscamos explicar en lo consecuente, por más complejo que sea.
Manchester United have been dealt a massive reality check, a punch in the face for the ten Hag project who has managed 481 games in his career and yesterday, at Anfield, was handed his heaviest defeat as a manager in any competition. Anfield is a Hell in which the Red Devils have had no power, authority or jurisdiction for some time now. The Manchester demons are reduced to mere souls in pain whenever they set foot at Anfield, the last fifteen goals scored at the Temple of Liverpool in the English derby having all come against the same team, Jürgen Klopp's Reds.
United's 10-point lead over Liverpool in the Premiership standings was of no use; there was no hint of the stark contrasts between the form of ten Hag's side and Klopp's boys. On the pitch at Anfield, we saw a Liverpool of another era, the Liverpool of Rock N' Roll Football and its Heavy Metal Gegenpressing, roll over Manchester United to hand them one of their worst defeats in their 145-year history. United's first half was not bad, there was defensive order, and even a couple of chances for the visitors to take the lead, but in the second half, a complex debacle unfolded that we seek to explain in the following, as complex as it is.

Un mazazo complejo al proyecto de ten Hag, uno que hace cuestionarse si es que este Manchester United está para realmente competir por títulos importantes (tan solo unos cuantos días después de haber echado al FC Barcelona de la Europa League para luego conquistar la Carabao Cup y aliviar seis años de sequía en las vitrinas de Old Trafford). Un 7-0 que se torna amargo para la feligresía de los Red Devils y que será un dulce recuerdo para la fanaticada de los Reds en medio de una de sus campañas más amargas de los últimos años.
El Liverpool de Klopp destrozó al United en la primera fase del juego -la salida de pelota-; los de ten Hag se plantaron con un 4-1-4-1 cuando el Liverpool tenía la posesión para buscar presionar alto al conjunto local, con Rashford en punta buscando ser el primer elemento de presión y la necesidad de que Bruno Fernandes o Antony le acompañaran en ese intento de asedio según el costado por el que el Liverpool buscara dar salida de pelota; pero un Alisson sumamente involucrado en la circulación del esférico sería clave pues fungía como un “tercer central” para combinar con Van Dijk y Konaté en la gestación del fútbol Red, dando libertad posicional a Robertson y Arnold por las bandas pues al centro, los de Klopp solían tener un 3 vs. 2 gracias al enorme aporte de su guardameta con la pelota en los pies.
A complex blow to ten Hag's project, one that raises the question of whether Manchester United are really ready to compete for major titles (just a few days after having knocked FC Barcelona out of the Europa League and then won the Carabao Cup to alleviate six years of drought in the Old Trafford trophy cabinet). A 7-0 scoreline that turns bitter for the Red Devils faithful and will be a sweet memory for Reds fans in the midst of one of their most bitter campaigns in recent years.
Klopp's Liverpool destroyed United in the first phase of the game - the ball out wide; ten Hag's side set up with a 4-1-4-1 formation when Liverpool had possession to press the home side high, with Rashford up front looking to be the first element of pressure and the need for Bruno Fernandes or Antony to join him in that siege attempt depending on which side Liverpool were looking to get the ball out wide; but an Alisson highly involved in the circulation of the ball would be key as he acted as a "third centre-back" to combine with Van Dijk and Konaté in the Reds' football gestation, giving positional freedom to Robertson and Arnold on the flanks because in the centre, Klopp's team used to have a 3 vs. 2 thanks to the enormous contribution of their goalkeeper with the ball at his feet.
Alisson encontraba constantemente a sus laterales para dar salida al esférico y todo el mundo conocemos las electrizantes cualidades de conducción que poseen Arnold y Robertson, por lo que el dejarles recibir con libertad por los flancos era una tarea casi suicida que requería de tanto Bruno como Antony debían brindarse en esfuerzos solidarios en la fase defensiva para buscar frenarles de algún modo y ello no sucedió. No se puede señalar un solo gran culpable de la debacle mancuniana en Anfield, pero Bruno Fernandes y Antony se roban varios reflectores por su falta de solidaridad en táctica, un desempeño muy alejado de lo que demandaba el planteamiento de su propio entrenador y, como resultado, los laterales de Klopp gozaban de amplias comodidades por sus flancos.
La estructura defensiva del United se veía sumamente comprometida y desdibujada cuando era superada esa primera línea de inexistente presión por parte de sus extremos, además que Klopp tuvo un acierto clave en el rol que brindó a Cody Gakpo en el frente de ataque, pidiéndole movilidad hacia las bandas, sobre todo hacia la izquierda para generar una dinámica compleja de defender para el United, puesto que los efectivos de ten Hag se quedaban cortos para brindar cobertura a los movimientos y piques del neerlandés y el uruguayo Darwin Núñez. Un nuevo desequilibrio posicional que Klopp generó sobre el tablero de ajedrez con una maestría absoluta para favorecer la generación ofensiva de los suyos. Varane quedaba constantemente vendido en un 2 para 1 entre Nuñez y Gakpo y defender a ese par de velocistas en desventaja numérica es casi imposible pues el United estaba absolutamente desordenado, ni Fred ni Casemiro llegaban para ofrecer apoyo a los centrales.
Alisson was constantly finding his full-backs to provide an outlet for the ball and we all know the electrifying driving qualities that Arnold and Robertson possess, so allowing them to receive freely down the flanks was an almost suicidal task that required both Bruno and Antony to put in solid efforts in defence to try and stop them in some way and it didn't happen. There is no one big culprit for the Mancunian debacle at Anfield, but Bruno Fernandes and Antony stole the limelight for their lack of tactical solidarity, a performance far removed from what their own manager's approach demanded and, as a result, Klopp's full-backs enjoyed ample comfort on their flanks.
United's defensive structure was extremely compromised and blurred when that first line of non-existent pressure from their wingers was overcome, and Klopp also had a key success in the role he gave Cody Gakpo in front of the attack, asking him to move to the flanks, especially to the left to generate a complex dynamic to defend for United, as ten Hag's troops were too short to provide cover for the movements and tricks of the Dutchman and Uruguayan Darwin Núñez. A new positional imbalance that Klopp generated on the chessboard with absolute mastery to favour the offensive generation of his team. Varane was constantly sold in a 2 on 1 between Nunez and Gakpo and defending this pair of speedsters at a numerical disadvantage is almost impossible as United were in complete disarray, neither Fred nor Casemiro were able to offer support to the centre-backs.

El gol de Gakpo sobre el final de la primera mitad y el de Darwin Nuñez arrancando el complemento fueron solo la punta del Iceberg que terminaría por hundir al barco del United sin que el capitán pudiese hacer nada desde el timón pues tan solo tres minutos tras haber recibido el segundo tanto Gakpo firmaba su doblete ante unos Red Devils que terminaron haciendo aguas de todas las formas posibles, entraron en pánico y fueron presa absoluta de la desesperación. Los de Klopp olieron la sangre y no tuvieron la más remota pizca de piedad. Erik ten Hag pagó carísimo el error de querer presionar alto la salida del gran maestro del gegenpressing; pero la culpa absoluta no cae en esa ingenuidad del estratega neerlandés sino en sus jugadores que no estuvieron a la altura y carecieron de la vergüenza deportiva para hacer frente a una situación por demás adversa.
Al doblete se Gakpo se sumó el de Darwin Núñez y posteriormente, el más significativo de todos, el de Mohamed Salah que con su par de anotaciones se ha convertido en el máximo realizador de los Reds por la Premier League con 129 dianas, superando los 128 tantos del mítico Robbie Fowler; y la cereza del pastel tras el concierto de dobletes la ofreció “Bobby” Firmino que terminará contrato este verano y seguramente verá la puerta de salida de un conjunto Red que ya va preparando una renovación de plantilla para buscar revertir esta compleja campaña. El United ha ofrecido un desempeño patético, un lamentable espectáculo que brinda una especie de deja vú recargado y remasterizado de las épocas oscuras de la transición post Ferguson que parecían haber quedado atrás.
Gakpo's goal at the end of the first half and Darwin Nuñez's goal at the start of the second half were just the tip of the iceberg that would end up sinking United's ship without the captain being able to do anything from the helm, as just three minutes after conceding the second goal Gakpo scored his double against a Red Devils that ended up going down in every possible way, panicking and falling prey to despair. Klopp's side smelt blood and showed no mercy. Erik ten Hag paid dearly for the mistake of wanting to press high on the great master of gegenpressing, but the blame was not the Dutch tactician's naivety but his players, who were not up to the task and lacked the sporting shame to face up to an adverse situation.
Gakpo's brace was followed by Darwin Núñez's and then, the most significant of all, that of Mohamed Salah who with his brace has become the Reds' top scorer in the Premier League with 129 goals, surpassing the 128 goals of the legendary Robbie Fowler; and the cherry on the cake after the double concert was offered by "Bobby" Firmino who will finish his contract this season. Firmino who will finish his contract this summer and will surely see the exit door of a Reds side that is already preparing a squad renewal to seek to reverse this complex campaign. United have offered a pathetic performance, a pitiful spectacle that offers a kind of remastered and reloaded deja vu of the dark ages of the post-Ferguson transition that seemed to have been left behind.

Este partido empezó con un Manu envalentonado, pero poco efectivo y el Liverpool se enfocó y enchufó el primero y se vino la avalancha, fué un baño de agua fria y realidad y se puso mejor la premier

En efecto, el Man U arrancó envalentonado, muy fiel a aquello que se esperaba de ellos, los de ten Hag se saben en mejor momento y con esa confianza buscaban encarar la vista a Anfield, pero carecieron de precisión. Los de Klopp fueron resilientes y supieron golpear con contundencia al final del primer tiempo y al inicio del segundo, de ahí en más la vista se desconectó y llegó una histórica tormenta de goles. ¡Duro revés para el proyecto de ten Hag! Tendrán que enfocar rápido en lo que viene, para evitar que esto sea una derrota psicológica que dañe los cimientos de lo que se ha venido haciendo bien.

Me pareció demasiado llamativo lo abultado del marcador. 7 goles de diferencia. Los Reds evidentemente estuvieron en su día y todos los planetas se alinearon para que recordaran no tan viejos tiempos con ese característico Heavy Metal de Klopp.

La verdad es que sí es un marcador llamativo, hermano. Más que una alineación planetaria, que me ha gustado como elemento retórico, yo lo atribuyo a la desconexión de los jugadores de ten Hag, y a quienes más podría señalar (desde mi punto de vista) sería a los que fungían como extremos; paupérrimo lo de Bruno y lo de Antony.
Ha sido una gran victoria de los Reds, fueron resilientes mientras tuvieron que serlo y contundentes, sumamente contundentes para capitalizar las opciones que brindaba el rival.
