En este espacio hemos repetido hasta el cansancio y casi a manera de mantra el hecho de que “la redonda es sumamente caprichosa”; y es que los designios del “Dios Redondo”, que llamamos balón, suelen ser inescrutables. Un buen día de 2016 Don Sergio Ramos García, siendo aún central y capitán del Real Madrid Clúb de Fútbol saltó al terreno de juego del Camp Nou de la mano de un pequeñín que, como todas las “mascotas” que escoltaban a los jugadores llevaba una camiseta azul con la leyenda “Merci Joan” en el pecho, aquel chavalín era nada menos que Lamine Yamal quien hoy, en Montjuic generó la jugada que provocó el autogol de la leyenda de Camas.
En la víspera del choque entre el Girona y el Real Madrid -los dos equipos que tenía por delante en la tabla al inicio de la jornada- y antes de pensar en su visita a Do Dragao para enfrentar al Porto por la UEFA Champions League, Xavi y su FC Barcelona querían dejar los deberes hechos; así que el estratega de Tarrasa se olvidó un poco de las rotaciones y formó con un once mucho más reconocible y sólido. Marc-André ter Stegen bajo palos, Alejandro Balde como carrilero izquierdo y João Cancelo por derecha, Andreas Christensen, Jules Koundé fueron la pareja de centrales; en la medular los elegidos fueron Ilkay Gündogan, Gavi, Raphinha y por delante de ellos. Mendilibar, por su parte, quería seguir sobre la senda de los buenos resultados cosechados con el cuadro hispalense y dispuso de un 4-2-3-1 con Ørjan Nyland en la puerta, Sergio Ramos y Loïc Badé en la central con Adrià Pedrosa y Juanlu Sánchez como laterales, Djibril Sow y Joan Jordán como el músculo en el centro del campo y Erik Lamela, Ivan Rakitic, Lucas Ocampos por delante de ese par de anclas para buscar surtir a Dodi Lukebakio en punta. El estratega vasco buscaba primar el órden en los suyos para complicar el desarrollo del encuentro a los locales. Mendiibar solo ha podido puntuar en una de sus visitas al Barça (un empate a uno que arrancó del Camp Nou con el Eibar), hoy se terminó quedando con las ganas.
El Sevilla salió a buscar resistir en Montjuic, y consiguió hacerlo durante tres cuartas partes del encuentro, hasta que la Diosa Fortuna decidió darles la espalda y sonreír a los de azul y grana, premiando la insistencia culé ceñida en liderazgo de Koundé, el cerebro del mejor Gundogan desde que llegó a Can Barça, el tesón de un incansable e intenso Gavi y la electricidad y mística de Fermín que entró de cambio para suplir al lesionado Raphinha y volver a brillar; así pues los de Xavi dormirán encaramados en lo más alto de la tabla a la espera de lo que ocurra en Montilivi entre el sorprendente Girona y el Real Madrid.

El 1-0 un marcador que la temporada anterior se repitió 11 veces para el FC Barcelona, terminó por ser un resultado un tanto mezquino si se toma en cuenta el partido tan bonito que se vio sobre la grama del Estadi Olímpic de Montjuic; el Sevilla ofreció poco de medio campo hacia el frente, como ya se mencionó, los de Mendilibar buscaban ordenarse y resistir más que percutir, pero sobre el cuarto de hora, un ramalazo por parte de Ivan Rakitic, viejo conocido culé, obligó a que ter Stegen se emplease al máximo; de ahí en más todo fue un lindo monólogo blaugrana en el que las ocasiones se presentaron pero los goles no caían.
Al minuto 21’ se juntaron “los Joaos”, Cancelo y Félix han llegado recientemente al Barça pero están tan compenetrados con el equipo que bien podrían ser llamados “les Joans” y nadie, absolutamente nadie en Barcelona se opondría a su adopción y catalanización; el slalom del lateral portugues sirvió para escapar entre Jordan y Giner que se quedaron viendo una visión mientras Cancelo asistía a Felix de manera magistral en las narices de Sergio Ramos pero el remate que armó “el Menino” sacudió el larguero y coqueteó con la línea de gol besándola para después abandonarla sin hacerla gritar de emoción.
El Sevilla, buscaba sacar petróleo con el poco dominio de pelota que tenía y con más empuje que calidad asociativa buscaba pisar el área de ter Stegen sin descuidarse las espaldas. Lamine Yamal y Fermin López Marin son una muestra del tremendo presente y futuro del Barça, da gusto verles jugar; su calidad y desparpajo enamoran a más de uno -incluso siendo hincha de cualquier equipo rival si se es capaz de disfrutar del buen fútbol más allá de los colores-. Se juntaron los jovenzuelos blaugrana para generar peligro con el desequilibrio de Lamine y la tremenda lectura de espacios de Fermín pero este último no supo armar un buen remate y aquello murió en manos de Nyland.

Sevilla were looking to make the most of the little ball control they had and with more drive than associative quality they tried to get into ter Stegen's area without neglecting their backs. Lamine Yamal and Fermin López Marin are an example of the tremendous present and future of Barça, it's a pleasure to watch them play; their quality and playfulness make more than one fall in love - even if you are a fan of any rival team if you are capable of enjoying good football regardless of your colours. The Blaugrana youngsters came together to generate danger with the imbalance of Lamine and the tremendous reading of space by Fermín but the latter was unable to put together a good shot and it died in the hands of Nyland.

El 0-0 se sostuvo al descanso aunque el Barça había hecho méritos suficientes para llevarse al menos un gol al vestuario y, tras el silbatazo de la reanudación la tónica fue la misma, el Barça haciendo méritos para romper el cero sin poder encontrar el premio su buen funcionamiento colectivo hasta que, al minuto 76’, un largo envío frontal de Ferrán Torres encontró a Lamine Yamal por el palo largo y el juvenil culé buscó centrar el esférico a la llegada de Fermín pero se encontró con la pierna de Sergio Ramos que terminó matando las aspiraciones del Sevilla con fuego amigo ¡Infortunio total para el capitán Sevillista que estaba comandando de maravilla la resistencia hispalense en Montjuic!
El Sevilla resistió ante el Barça hasta que terminó por caer de la manera más insospechada; el gol de Ramos en propia puerta ha sido el tercero del central de Camas por LaLiga, los previos se dieron con la camiseta del Real Madrid, curiosamente enfrentando al Sevilla, ¡Ramos da, Ramos quita! Ya son 16 los partidos que acumula el FC Barcelona sin derrota ante el Sevilla 12 victorias y 4 empates con lo acontecido hoy sobre la grama de Montjuic.

Sevilla held out against Barça until they ended up falling in the most unexpected way; Ramos' own goal was the Camas centre-back's third in LaLiga, the previous ones having been scored in a Real Madrid shirt, curiously against Sevilla, Ramos gives, Ramos takes away! FC Barcelona have now gone 16 games without defeat against Sevilla, 12 wins and 4 draws after what happened today on the Montjuic pitch.

Un encuentro bastante divertido, tanto el Sevilla como el Barça tuvieron ocasiones de anotar, aunque en mi opinión las más claras fue por los locales, el travesaño de Félix y la otra que tuvo Fermín a penas entrar al campo, son de las más claras, junto posiblemente otras que se originaron a balón parado; el Sevilla no anotó porque se encontró con una buena versión de ter Stegen, lo otro es que el Sevilla parece que no tiene un revulsivo en el medio campo, son esos titulares y nada más.
Excelente juego de Sergio Ramos, a pesar de que el Barça tuvo más ocasiones, creo que el anterior defensor del Real Madrid fue el más valioso de su equipo.

El partido fue bueno, ambos compitieron con las armas y la filosofía que profesan, pero el Barça fue superior en el desarrollo del encuentro; creo que los de Xavi se pudieron haber ido con ventaja al descanso tranquilamente, pero con milimétricas cuestiones no encontraron puerta hasta que Ramos -de gran partido- se estrelló con el infortunio. Estoy de acuerdo contigo, amigo, el conjunto de Mendilibar no tiene recambios de peso en el centro de campo y casi que en ninguna posición.

Bueno, hemos de decir que previo a esta sufrida semana en la que tuvieron que venir de atrás ante el Celta y también ante el Mallorca para empatar; venían de propinar un par de goleadas abultadas a sus rivales. Creo que el problema del Barça radica más en las desatenciones defensivas que en su falta de volumen ofensivo.
