My weekend review|| Unlucky Chelsea
Hello guys hope you're all good. I'm fine thanks. This> is actually my first post on this group. Well this weekend had lots of activities, i had to do some cleaning in the morning of my Saturday and then for the interesting part, I got to watch the interesting match up between Chelsea and Liverpool at the Anfield stadium.
This encounter was one of a kind. Two Giants of the Epl and football at large locked horns. It was a very entertaining match but eventually ended in a 1-1 draw. The build up to the match was all the more interesting, it was Chelsea's latest marquee signing, Lukaku vs Liverpool's colossal center back, Virgil van dijk, a new and well organized defence vs the all Power Liverpool attack consisting of The deadly trio of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. I'm not a Chelsea fan but I have to commend the awesome job Thomas Tuchel has done since hi arrival at Stamford bridge, Chelsea look more solid, very solid defensively and are good at scoring too, especially now they have a new focal point in Romelu. As for Liverpool it was the same old team that won the premier league except for the absence of Wijnaldum. They seemed to be gradually getting back to their best.
Kick off. As expected Chelsea's defence was sturdy but Liverpool's attack was unrelenting. Chelsea looked to get the ball to Lukaku but Vigil did a brilliant job at make him toothless, sometimes you could see Lukaku move in to the side of Joel matip as Virgil was too strong. Eventually Chelsea scored first from a corner. Kai Havertz, the champions league hero was at it again with a looping header this time around. The noise of the banter increase as they scored but Liverpool were unwavering, they kept on attacking.
Penalty!!! Liverpool hardwork paid off, even though chelsea was a bit unlucky, the call was rather correct and had to be a penalty. A goal bound effort bounced off the thigh of Reece James and hit his arm on the line. After a quicj Var review, a penalty was awarded and Reece was sent off, ouch. Chelsea's players almost lost it and argued violently which saw more cards coming out for them, this time it was yellow though. Mo. Salah score from the spot just before half time.

It was Liverpool all the way in the second half. They attacked with all their strength but Chelsea's defence, with a man down, were up to the task. Chelsea had some chances on the break though but no goal came forth in the second half. The game soon came to an end and we could see Klopp say the words 'wow, wow wow' I think he was impressed and disappointed at the same time. Impressed at Chelsea's defensive solidity and disappointed that he could not win 10-men Chelsea.
Thanks for reading through.

Chelsea wasn't unlucky at all even with red card they didn't concede that's a luck for me
Yeah they were lucky not to concede any more goals, but the manner in which recce was sent off was rather unlucky.

Chelsea will win the league for sure this season
They are too good
Lol..... I doubt that 😂, they're stronger now, no doubt, but they won't win it.
