Saturday ☀️ 11781

The city still slumbered when I stepped out into the soft embrace of Saturday’s slow sunrise. It was a quiet morning, stitched together by the last lingering threads of the holidays. I wandered along the Mierendorffinsel route, the sky a canvas of crystal-clear blue brushed with brilliant sunlight. I passed by the graffiti wall of fame, where colors clashed like a thousand stories shouting at once as usual. At my favorite island spots, I slowed down for breathing exercises and meditation, letting the calm seep deep into my bones. A few groceries found their way into my bag on the way back, and the rest of the day melted away lazily on the sun-drenched terrace. I did not bother hunting for new photo moments this morning. Instead, I polished a macro shot of a freshly opened European beech bud from another peaceful day, hoping it brings a bit of that quiet wonder to you too.

Die Stadt schlief noch tief, als ich in die sanfte Umarmung des langsamen Samstagmorgens trat. Es war ein ruhiger Morgen, zusammengenäht aus den letzten Fäden der Ferien. Ich schlenderte die Mierendorffinselroute entlang, unter einem kristallklaren blauen Himmel, der vom strahlenden Sonnenlicht bemalt wurde. An der Graffiti Wall of Fame tobten wie immer die Farben wie tausend Geschichten auf einmal. An meinen liebsten Inselstellen ließ ich mich zu Atemübungen und Meditation nieder, während die Ruhe tief in meine Knochen sickerte. Auf dem Rückweg landeten ein paar Lebensmittel in meiner Tasche, und der Rest des Tages verfloss entspannt auf der sonnenüberfluteten Terrasse. Heute Morgen hatte ich keine Augen für neue Motive. Stattdessen habe ich ein Makro einer frisch geöffneten Rotbuchenknospe von einem anderen friedlichen Tag für euch bearbeitet, in der Hoffnung, euch ein Stück dieser stillen Wunderwelt zu schenken.
