Monday ☀️ 10041

A grey morning stretched out like a soft wool blanket, clouds cracked open now and then, but the sun never quite broke through. I rode my bike to Jungfernheide, the path still soaked from the night’s rain. Everything looked greener, lusher, like nature had taken a deep breath and smiled. The air was thick with earthy scents, wet bark, rich soil, and a whisper of spring. Birds belted their songs like it was a symphony rehearsal, not a random Tuesday. I paused at the water, my breath slow and steady, meditating as a light, cool wind stirred the surface. This wasn’t just another morning walk; it was a reminder that even on grey days, the world offers bright moments. From the sculpture garden, I brought back a piece of that peace: a totem pole standing tall, framed by a backdrop so painterly it felt like it had been waiting for someone to notice.

Ein grauer Morgen lag wie eine weiche Wolldecke über der Stadt, ab und zu riss die Wolkendecke auf, doch für echten Sonnenschein reichte es nicht. Ich fuhr mit dem Rad zur Jungfernheide; nach der verregneten Nacht war alles feucht, neblig und das Grün wirkte frischer als sonst. Die Luft war voller erdiger Düfte, nasses Holz, tiefer Boden, ein Hauch von Frühling. Die Vögel sangen, als gäbe es ein Konzert, kein gewöhnlicher Dienstag. Am Wasser hielt ich inne, atmete tief, meditierte, ein kühler Wind strich über die Oberfläche. Es war mehr als nur ein morningwalk: ein stiller Beweis dafür, dass selbst graue Tage lichte Momente tragen. Aus dem Skulpturengarten hab ich euch ein Stückvon dem Frieden mitgebracht: den Totempfahl vor einem Hintergrund, so malerisch, als hätte er nur auf einen Blick gewartet.
