Wednesday ☀️ 8710

The morning air whispered with warmth again, as double-digit temperatures returned again this morning. I stood by the water’s edge, wrapped in routine, breathing deep, the way I always did, letting stillness settle in my chest. Swans sliced through the air above the river Spree with their distinctive honks and humming wing sounds, herons flying silently along the river just above the water without touching it. I missed their midair magic with my camera, cursed my timing, but caught one heron walking around, watching the world for its breakfast. After a quick bite of my own, I sank into that soft, easy rhythm, editing photos, sipping calm like it was coffee. There was no need to rush, no reason to chase the birds I’d missed. Some mornings speak louder in silence.

Am Morgen lag wieder milde Luft in der Luft, zweistellige Temperaturen wieder heute morgen. Ich war wie immer am Wasser, atmete tief und ließ die Ruhe in mir ankommen. Schwäne flogen mit ihrem markanten Hupen und summenden Flügelgeräuschen durch die Luft über der Spree, Reiher flogen schweigend direkt über dem Wasser entlang, ohne es zu berühren. Leider habe ich sie im Flug verpasst, aber einen Reiher am Ufer konnte ich festhalten, den hab ich euch mitgebracht. Nach einem kleinen Frühstück war ich ganz entspannt, habe Fotos bearbeitet und einfach den Moment genossen. Kein Druck, kein Stress, manche Morgen sprechen eben leise, aber eindrucksvoll.
