A quiet Monday morning, just me and the palace gardens. My breath matched the rippling water on Luiseninsel, birds filling the air with their chorus. The wind turned the morning crisp, a little too brisk for comfort. Back home, coffee in hand, the phone rang—plans paused, couch abandoned. A last-minute call to step in for a colleague at a show. No lazy start, no slow day. By sunset, I stood on the venue’s roof, camera in hand, capturing that little red stripe of sunset feeling on the city‘s horizon. Some mornings whisper, others shove. This one did both.
Ein ruhiger Montagmorgen, nur ich und die Schlossgärten. Mein Atem folgte den Wellen an der Luiseninsel, während die Vögel ihr Konzert gaben. Der Wind machte den Morgen kühler, ein bisschen ungemütlicher als nötig. Zurück zu Hause, Kaffee in der Hand, klingelte das Telefon – Pläne pausiert, die Couch verlassen. Ein spontaner Anruf, um für einen Kollegen bei einer Show einzuspringen. Kein langsamer Start, kein ruhiger Tag. Zum Sonnenuntergang stand ich auf dem Dach des Veranstaltungsorts, die Kamera im Anschlag, den schmalen roten Streifen Sonnenuntergang am Horizont der Stadt einzufangen. Manche Morgen flüstern, andere stoßen einen an. Dieser tat beides.
