There was no morning walk before today's show setup for an award ceremony in Frank Gehry’s Axica at Pariser Platz. The public transport strike had ended, but I still had plenty of ground to cover inside the venue. One advantage of arriving early at places like this? Experiencing them without tourists, without crowds—just stillness and space. This morning, the Brandenburg Gate stood like a stage set, framed by a fog that diffused the light evenly and made the Gate stand out. It felt like the city itself had decided to serve up the perfect backdrop.

Es gab keinen Morgenspaziergang vor dem heutigen Show-Setup für eine Award-Show im Axica von Frank Gehry am Pariser Platz. Der Streik im öffentlichen Nahverkehr war vorbei, aber ich hatte trotzdem genug Wege in der Venue zurückzulegen. Ein Vorteil, früh an solchen Orten zu sein? Sie ohne Touristen, ohne Menschenmengen zu erleben, nur Stille und Weite. Heute Morgen stand das Brandenburger Tor wie eine Bühnenkulisse, eingerahmt von einem Nebel, der das Licht gleichmäßig streute und das Tor hervorstechen ließ. Fast so, als hätte die Stadt selbst die perfekte Kulisse inszeniert.
