Another grey, damp, and today even icy morning at zero degrees – the Sunday bike ride to the morning walk in Volkspark Jungfernheide was back on. The streets were wonderfully quiet, a peaceful calm that’s only found in the early hours of Sunday. I took my usual spot on the island in the park’s lake for my breathing and meditation exercises, gazing at the water tower while the birds serenaded the sky. The light was extraordinary as the sun broke through the clouds, casting a golden glow, which I captured for you. It was a mostly sunny day afterward, culminating in a brunch with an old friend across town in Berlin. A perfect mix of stillness, nature, and connection.
Wieder ein grauer, feuchter und heute sogar auch eisiger Morgen bei null Grad – die sonntägliche Radtour zum Morgenwalk im Volkspark Jungfernheide stand wieder an. Es war herrlich ruhig auf den Straßen, eine Stille, die nur in den frühen Stunden des Sonntags zu finden ist. Ich machte wie gewohnt meine Atem- und Meditationsübungen auf der Insel im Parksee, blickte auf den Wasserturm und hörte den Vögeln zu. Das Licht war außergewöhnlich, als die Sonne die Wolken durchbrach und einen goldenen Schein verbreitete, den ich für euch festhielt. Der restliche Tag war noch recht sonnig, gefolgt von einem Brunch mit einem alten Freund am anderen Ende der Stadt in Berlin. Ein perfekter Mix aus Stille, Natur und Verbundenheit.
