The fresh, foggy morning wrapped the city in a quiet, cottony cocoon. The air felt moist, clinging to my skin like a whispered secret. After a few teasingly warm spring days, the chill had crept back, nipping at my nose. I took the Tiergarten route, my footsteps muffled by the damp earth. As I passed under a bridge, I caught the sun—golden and gentle—climbing the fog-draped stairs, stretching its light like a careful painter brushing color onto a muted canvas. The city stirred slowly, unwilling to wake just yet.
Der frische, neblige Morgen hüllte die Stadt in einen leisen, wattigen Kokon. Die feuchte Luft legte sich wie ein geflüstertes Geheimnis auf meine Haut. Nach ein paar verlockend warmen Frühlingstagen war die Kälte zurückgekehrt und biss mir in die Nase. Ich nahm die Route durch den Tiergarten, meine Schritte gedämpft vom feuchten Boden. Unter einer Brücke sah ich die Sonne, golden und sanft, die nebelverhangene Treppe hinaufsteigen, ihr Licht ausstreckend wie ein vorsichtiger Maler, der Farbe auf eine gedämpfte Leinwand bringt. Die Stadt regte sich langsam, noch nicht bereit, ganz aufzuwachen.
