The cold cut through me like a knife this morning, still way below zero, nearly minus ten degrees Celsius. Clear skies painted the pastel horizon, and the sunrise was nothing short of spectacular. Yet somehow, I felt the chill more than usual, as if it had finally seeped into my bones after so many freezing days. I chose the Luiseninsel route through the Palace Gardens, where winter still ruled with an icy grip. The lakes lay frozen, locked in their silent slumber, while the snow-covered paths whispered underfoot. The sun performed a golden ballet through the bare branches, casting long, delicate shadows. At the lake’s edge, I paused for a short breathing meditation, letting the crisp air fill my lungs. A few striking scenes unfolded, most notably, a heron standing motionless, soaking in the first warm rays of the day.

Die Kälte schnitt mir heute Morgen wie ein Messer durch die Knochen, noch immer weit unter Null, fast minus zehn Grad Celsius. Der Himmel war klar, der Sonnenaufgang atemberaubend. Trotzdem spürte ich die Kälte stärker als sonst, als hätte sie sich nach all den frostigen Tagen tief in mich hineingefressen. Mein Weg führte mich über die Luiseninsel durch den Schlossgarten, wo der Winter noch immer das Sagen hatte. Die Seen lagen erstarrt, der Schnee dämpfte jeden Schritt. Die Sonne tanzte golden durch die kahlen Äste und warf lange, filigrane Schatten. Am Ufer hielt ich inne für eine kurze Atemmeditation, ließ die klare Luft meine Lungen füllen. Ein paar schöne Motive boten sich an, allen voran ein Reiher, regungslos, als würde er die ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen in sich aufsaugen.
