The virus had me in its grip, persistent, draining, and downright frustrating. The relentless cough began to loosen its hold, a small sign that healing was finally on the horizon. I stayed indoors, still too wiped out to venture outside, but I managed to pace around the house, clocking in my 5,000 steps for a report. Occasionally, I stepped onto the terrace to breathe in the crisp air and watch the clouds shift against the sky, a quiet reminder that rest doesn’t always mean stillness. Energy was scarce, but I fought back with a vibrant, nut-filled salad that tasted like sunshine in a bowl—simple fuel to keep me moving forward. Tonight, I’m banking on restful sleep, praying the cough gives me a break. Progress may be slow, but even small steps feel like victories.
