After a restless, noisy night and finally drifting off hours later, I still managed to get up for a morning walk, though much later than usual. The streets were quieter than expected, with less leftover fireworks trash scattered around. The sky was a dull gray, cold but dry, and the wind whipped through the air. I chose the Mierendorffinsel route, hoping to find a cool graffiti piece at the Wall of Fame to mark the New Year. And sure enough, the Looney Toons Tweety and Sylvester greeted me as I strolled past, bringing a touch of whimsy to the day. It was a colorful and funny fitting way to kick off 2025. Wishing you all a fantastic, successful, and most importantly, healthy New Year ahead!
