The day started with a stubborn chill, a lingering memory of freezing weekend weather that had suddenly softened into a damp, drizzly morning. Before heading out, I stretched and breathed my way through a short meditation at home, an anchor of calm before the chaos. On the way to the venue, I played tourist in my own city, pausing just long enough to snap a picture of the Brandenburg Gate in moody black and white. The rest of the day unfolded in a whirlwind of tasks at a hotel, setting up for a show. It was a puzzle of small problems: cables that didn’t reach, schedules that didn’t match, and equipment that didn’t want to cooperate. But by evening, everything was solved, checked, and done. The reward? A well-earned evening off, with just enough energy left to appreciate the quiet satisfaction of a day’s work completed.
