A cold, damp, foggy morning greeted me as I set out on a brief walk before diving into the day's work. The scene? An old Berlin studio where the first talkies once sprang to life, now renewed and serving as an event venue. It felt like stepping into history, with each room echoing an era of early film. I spent most of the day on my feet, helping clients connect their computers and navigate technical issues. As the evening settled in, we dismantled most of the equipment, bringing a long, layered day to a close. One highlight? A massive, antique studio lamp towering in the corner, casting a warm, nostalgic glow over the venue and bringing a piece of cinematic history into focus. It was the perfect end to a day that blended the past with the present, leaving me both inspired and a little weary.
