It was one of those nice, sweaty morningwalks, the kind where the humidity clung to my skin like a damp blanket. The sky teased with sunny patches here and there, but we knew rain was bound to make its entrance sometime today. After ticking off groceries from my list, I made a quick stop at the hardware store for a few odds and ends. My feet barely got a break, and by the end of the day, I’d been on the go more than I’d planned. And as if that wasn’t enough, the relentless invasion of chestnut-heads is still in full swing, they‘re everywhere, watching me on my morningwalk.
