The weather has been up and down these days, shifting like a restless breeze. After a scorcher of nearly 30 degrees yesterday, this morning greeted us with a fresh coolness, the kind that makes the air feel alive. It’s funny how temperatures play their tricks. Yesterday’s heat was relentless, yet today we saw the thermometer barely brush past 20 degrees. But I didn’t mind. I’ve always taken my walks, no matter what the sky decides to throw at me. Just like the birds, I suppose. Especially that heron I spotted today, standing proud in the morning sun, indifferent to the swelter or the chill. Ommmmmmm …
