Ever notice how a Sunday route with a bit of rain can turn the ordinary into something magical? This morning, the park was like a lush forest, filled with that fresh, earthy smell from last night’s heavy downpour. Puddles dotted the paths, and everywhere you looked, slugs and snails were out for their morning crawl. I ran into the usual park residents: a swan family doing their morning routines, squirrels darting around, and even a a fox crossed my path. I found myself pausing at the lake, mesmerized by the rain creating ripples on the water’s surface. Just standing there, breathing in the moment, letting my thoughts drift with each drip, drip, drip... pure tranquility.
