Arsenal; The King of North London Derby.

Arsenal did the unthinkable and put their North London rivals to the sword. With Arsenal's struggle in the league and form this season, most people expected either a loss as usual for Arsenal or at most a draw but Arsenal turned up the game and totally blew away Tottenham.

This is the kind of performance that would live long in the hearts of fans and they would expect the team to build on this memorable performance. It births the question of why haven't they been playing like this ever since but it's a wonderful moment to pick up form after they comprehensively beat Tottenham by 3-1.

Tottenham looked like a shadow of themselves but that's due to the brilliance of Arsenal. Tottenham hasn't hit the ground running in the League too but only one North London team showed character and determination to give their fans something to cheer about. Smith-Rowe, Aubameyang and Saka did the damage before Son grabbed a late consolation.

Arsenal had the early dominance and they made it count in the 12th minute after Saka played the ball into the box, Smith-Rowe ran to it and stroke the ball into the back of the net to give Arsenal the lead.

Confidence rose for Arsenal and Aubameyang was found with a long pass in the 16th minute. He crossed the ball to Saka at the other end and he exchanged a pass with Smith-Rowe before Partey was found at the end of the box. His curling effort was saved by Hugo Lloris. Arsenal were still in control of the game and Martin Odegaard controlling proceedings as well.

Tottenham didn't look like they would threaten Arsenal in any way at the point in the game. Dele Alli lost the ball right inside the box and failed to even chase down the ball after losing it. Tottenham were looking static and their movements were terrible. Son managed to race through on goal after chasing the ball down on his own and he fired a shot from a tight angle inside the box which Ramsdale was able to save for a corner kick.

Arsenal were not done and they made their dominance count in the 28th minute when Aubameyang sent Smith-Rowe racing through on goal. Smith-Rowe did the same cut back that Saka did and this time it was from the left-hand side inside the box and his pick out found Aubameyang who sent the ball into the back of the net beyond the reach of Lloris to send Arsenal 2 goals up. What a rebranded Arsenal against their North London rivals.

It moved from bad to worse for Tottenham after Harry Kane lost possession of the ball just at the edge of the Arsenal box. Arsenal orchestrated a counter-attack which led to Saka being sent through on the right-hand side. He tried to pick out a teammate in the box but Kane was there to block it and the ball fell to his right foot again as he drove in and struck the ball beyond the reach of Lloris to make it a deserved 3 - 0 lead in just 34 minutes.

Harry Kane should have reduced the deficit in the 39th minute after a lovely corner kick delivery found him inside the box. His header missed just by a small margin.

Arsenal were in control and tried to extend their lead in the 52nd minute after Aubameyang was found in the box and Gabriel looked like he was pulled back in the box but the referee waved the penalty appeal off for Arsenal. Tottenham looked like a shadow of themselves and maybe this is what Harry Kane noticed which was why he wanted to leave. Kane had a penalty shout in the 56th minute and the referee waved play on as well.

Harry Kane had a decent chance in the 61st minute when his strike from outside the box was saved by Ramsdale who parried the ball low. Tomiyasu was right on time to bundle it for a corner kick away from the reach of the on-rushing Son. 2 minutes after, Kane was found with an inch-perfect long pass inside the box and he tried to guide the ball in despite beating the goalkeeper, he also beat the post, marginally, much to the shock of everyone.

Saka had another decent chance in the 72nd minute after twisting Reguillon and his low curling effort was saved by Hugo Lloris. Son got one back for Tottenham in the 78th minute after he was brilliantly found in the box and he guided the ball home to make it 3-1. Lucas Moura tried to produce a moment of magic in the 92nd minute with a looping shot and Ramsdale managed to get a touch on it as it rattles the crossbar. Tottenham tried to manage a late surge but it was a little too late.

Thank you for your time.

My brothers nearly used my head to hit the wall because they won.
The banter was crazy especially since we lost.

Arsenal shouldn't be winning 😆

Right now we need to start a prayer meeting for Ole though because that man would be the end of us.
