Ofcourse with Barcelona preparing for new players to come in, some will have to leave. One of those who appears to be playing with one foot already out the door is Usman Dembele, whose contract with the club expires next summer. The Frenchman has been advised by his agents not to sign a new deal at the Camp Nou. With the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool said to be interested and another club has now joined the race for the misfiring Winger. Although that also depends on their own outgoing's.

Bayern Munich have long been admirers of the 24 year old and reportedly made an attempt to sign him when he broke through at ren in 2015-16 but would ultimately lose out on his signature to bundesliga rivals Bolusia Dortmunds. BVB themselves would then quadruple their money just 12 months later, when they sold dembele to barcelona for 135 million euros a fee that has seemed more and more ridiculous as times gone by.

It seemed that the chance had gone for Bayern to ever sign the world cup winner but now here we are. Although, they will only make a move if Dembele's international teammate Kingsley Coman leaves the Allianz Arena next summer. Coman's deal with vine expires in 2023. However, his demands exceed what the club are willing to offer him that said Coman has developed into a regular starter and goal scorer under Julian Nagelsmann.

With five goals and two assists in all competitions since late october and even before this renaissance, Bayern have always been keen to keep the winger in their squad. However, should he not want to sign a new deal, they'll likely sell him next summer and as it happens, Barcelona are interested.

Xavi is known to be a big fan of Coman and the player was even linked with a move to the La Liga before Xavi was announced as the club's new manager. So whilst this isn't a swap deal both Barcelona and Bayern Munich are effectively relying on the other to make the first move in order to react and make a signing of their own.
