THE NEW ARTETA

Welcome to my portal as I dive straight into it.

If I was Ancelloti, I wud use Brahim Diaz the way Ancelloti used him[in the 2023/24 season]— just enough for him to stay for another season. Infact too many players, Valverde,Camaviga,etc in that midfield, but great rotation keeps them there.

Or if I was Pep, I would use Kovacic the way Pep used him[in the 2023/24 season]– just enough to stay for another season and go to the Euros.[which he did]

If I was Arteta:

1. I would use Kiwior more than he used him in that first season, such that a Saliba injury towards the end of yhe season that year will not be a popular topic today.

2. I would use Ramsdale far more than he used him. He practically denied Ramsdale a place in the Euros, only mercy in Southgate's heart drew Ramsdale in. So many other coaches would have rightly not considered the goalie.

3. Smithe-Rowe, need I say more?🤷‍♂️

I have watched Arteta from time. Even when he was winning the FA cup I clearly told people that he has a problem with rotation, but many thought I was blabbing.

However, it is true that every year he's improving on this aspect. But Smith has suffered too long from his ineptitude with rotation. A Pep or Zidane, could easily have kept Rowe happy. Those are rotation gurus, esp Zidane.

On to Saturday

It was Arsenal versus Wolverhampton Wanderers on the first weekend of the EPL.

Now briefly let's see Aston Villa versus Wetham, played same Saturday. Watkins, their striking hitman, was hauled off for Duran– a striker who doesn't play regularly for Villa. Also star man Bailey was substituted, eventhough he was playing well.

This is the principle of ROTATION at work courtesy, Unai Emery formerly of Arsenal. It is a principle Arteta didn't know and apply when he signed as Arsenal's coach.

Duran scored the winning goal.

On Saturday, Arsenal was leading 2 nil and Arteta brought in Calafiori to shore up things, since Calafiori is also a DM.🤔
Or okay, when Arsenal was 1 nil up, Arteta brought in Kiwior to make it a 5-man defence to protect the lead.

Ok both sentences above actually represent the Arteta that began coaching Arsenal, but I have severally told people that Arteta keeps improving in this regard and he should do better with rotation this season.

On Saturday, we were preparing for a Martinelli exit as usual, afterall it's not like he was as dangerous as Bailey was for Villa. Suddenly it was Saka off.

How many times in the past have I said that there are not a few matches like this one today that Saka didn't need to finish at all, with the quality of bench Arsenal boasts.

I'm glad to see my wishes now coming to pass.

Just ROTATE Arteta and you would be fine.
