something has to happen because the way we are going is a path to ruin.
From here it looks pretty clear that Trump, Vance and Elon Musk want to dismantle the US Government ( fire everyone) and start over again with a new form of Government that does not require Elections or Human workers (Tesla - Sustainable Abundance)
It is called a Technocracy (Project 2025) …. This is what Elon Musk’s Grandfather Joshua Haldeman tried to do in Canada in 1930’s but he was put in Jail for being a Nazi.

"What I am here to say: That will indeed be the case." Musk said the robots the company is making, in combination with solar energy, will allow for that productivity.

Sounds like we are all screwed to me. I have little doubt there is a ton of waste that can be cleaned up, but they are going about it in the worst way possible.
Yes. I think every Government could cut 25% of waste.
They should all shrink but Elon Musk and Trump have much bigger plans.
Musk thinks he can fire 80 % of Public Servants like he did with Twitter. He also thinks people like Teachers and Soldiers can be replaced with his Tesla Robots and Grok AI… If you believe anything he says at his Tesla All hands on deck Meetings ...
USA will need to buy Millions of Tesla robots to replace all the humans.

Yes. Retirement for all Government workers is looking very good.
As long as Elon Musk does not remove all Government Pensions.
Then we will all be blogging on Hive for $$$ to buy food.
I have some other investments that should cover me for a bit if that were to happen. Honestly, if we get to that point we will have far greater things to worry about because many won't take a move like that laying down.
