A beautiful day to be out on the water. Lots of other boats out there today.
I portaged to the water on a new trail …
Made a few movies that I’ll upload to 3Speak after I add some music.
And then paddled down to where the dock is …
Was very happy to see it was installed for the summer and decided to get out this way.
Much easier.
Now I’m ready for a nap…

Wow what a lovely day to be out on a boating ride :) I remember seeing this view when it was all snowy. What a stark contrast indeed. Must feel good to be outdoors in this great weather :) enjoy your weekend!

So, at first, you take your boat to the dock by those wheels and then carry the wheels on your boat! Interesting :)

Yeah.. I walk about 1/2 km with my kayak on wheels … then carry my kayak on the trail for a few metres … I put the wheels on the back so that I can get out at any other spot along the River. It’s the Rideau River that runs from Kingston Ontario to Gatineau Quebec … takes about 2 weeks to kayak the full length of the River.
