Bike ride to the park. My Actifit Report Card: April 10 2023

Today I went out for a short walk. Afterwards I decided to do some biking around town. Biking is one of my favorite ways to explore new places because you get see more than if you are walking or driving. Plus it's great exercise too! I rode along some paths that wound through parks, neighborhoods and even past old buildings from long ago - each place had its own unique character and beauty. It felt so good to be out in nature.

I also stopped by a nearby lake on my bike ride today which made me feel so peaceful looking at all that stillness surrounded by trees on either side. There was something calming about being there, like nothing else mattered except taking in the moment fully before moving onto somewhere else again soon enough anyway…

By the end of my journey, I had biked over 15 miles – wow! That’s quite an accomplishment but luckily it wasn't too strenuous since most parts were flat terrain (at least here where we live). All this activity lets me rack up those steps though as well – win-win situation right? Especially when you consider how much fun I have while doing these activities. 🙂

Today really put into perspective how important movement can be for our physical health as well as mental wellbeing . We should never forget that having regular physical activity helps us stay strong both inside & out; not only does exercising help nourish our bodies but it can also help clear our minds giving us moments for reflection or simply relaxation away from daily life stressors . So yeah – happy grateful feeling after today's excursions.
