Ronaldo back to his country team as they face super Eagles of Nigeria.
Good afternoon sports ladies and gentlemen, we have an interesting match to watch today hope y'all are ready even though it's an international friendly between Nigeria and Portugal at the Estádio José Alvalade stadium. but for me, it's just like every other normal match haha. It will be an interesting one indeed, seeing the likes of Danilo Pereira, Anthonio Silva, Joao Palhinha, William Carvalho, Ruben Neves, Bruno Fernandes Cristiano Ronaldo, and many others on the same pitch with our super Eagles players will be fun to watch.
The match is scheduled for 17th November 2022 at 6:30 west African time, oh how I wish this match was played here in Nigeria I could only imagine how filled up the stadium will be trust me many football lovers will not just come to the stadium to watch Nigeria play or support super Eagles but they will be there to watch the almighty GOAT play. Funny right? Because that was what I, in particular, will do even if the stadium is far from the location I don't mind paying my way there to watch the match. But I guess something like that will not happen as everyone now see Nigeria as a country under terrorist control.
This match will be Portugal's final match before they go into the world cup in full, I wish them all the best and they have my support because as it is my country failed to qualify which automatically made me support Portugal's International team. And the match will also be Nigeria's last match before they begin preparations for the 2023 African cup of nations qualifiers. I wish them luck too.
While back with his country team I saw the joy that on the face of Ronaldo, he seems happy to be back even with the little stomach pains he is still determined to lead his team as they face the Super Eagles of Nigeria today in 4 hours from now. It will be hard for me to predict the score I will just watch and whatever the outcome I will be satisfied with it, but I wished for the super Eagles to improve.
Nigerian coach Jose Peseiro said during an interview with NTA (Nigeria Television Authority) has said that the international friendly with Portugal will enable his team to sit up for other matches in the future and that playing with a big team like Portugal will bring them active and he will watch carefully and see which of his players are ready for the task ahead. I hope Nigeria players won't develop cold feet at the sight of Ronaldo. They must make sure they deliver.
