My Actifit Report Card: August 31 2024

Today like every other days have been a great and busy day. Right from the early hour of the day - 5:35am I woke up and get prepare to move to Ibiono local gover with the aim of assisting the family in preparation for the burial of their beloved mother.

I alongside 5 others made the journey. We will be assisting the family to harvest cassava, cut and clear the grasses around the house, fetch firewood and mend the fence.

On arriving at Ibiono we stop to get clearer direction before we proceed.

We head on to the directed route and arrive the venue. We meet the family and arrangement commense. We divided ourselves into groups and I was in the cassava harvesting group, we then walk to the farm.

We harvest the cassava which will be use for Garry and Fufu.

Having completed the quantity that will be use, we gathered all and headed back home

On getting home, others in their own group were busy also handling their part.

Other have started pealing the cassava.

The division of labor makes the work easier and faster.

After we were through with all the task, we decided before we return back to Uyo, let us go to the stream and have a cool wash and dive.

We finally returns to Uyo and I then walk back home. I have been able to make over 4300 steps to keep fit and healthy.
