Nice pool day at Il Castagno.

Today is Sunday and the Sunday before mid-August which is a public holiday here in Italy, so I decided to relax, unfortunately where I live there aren't many swimming pools to relax in, only one but mostly suitable for families, so full of children not really suitable for relaxation, ha ha ha So I asked some groups to recommend swimming pools not too far from my city and they recommended a lovely swimming pool in the village of Castagno on the hills of Pistoia that can be reached by car or train since there is a small station. Upon arrival, if you don't have them, caps and slippers are rented to you to preserve personal and collective hygiene. Entry is really cheap 15 euros on Sundays with a sunbed or ten on midweek, five euros more if you want an umbrella, given the prices in Italy lately theirs are very cheap.

They gave too pool one little and one bigger. One reaches up to two metres, the other up to one metre. The posro is really nice, in fact they also have a residence for those who stay there for several days, surrounded by greenery there are swimming pools and a nice bar, and there are also well-kept green terraces where guests can put up sunbeds. the hilly location means that the water in the pools is always very fresh and perfect for high temperatures. As soon as I arrived, I sat on my lounger by the pool, enjoying the view and the freshness of the plants overlooking the pool.

I really enjoyed my pool time and relax myself a lot, this is really a charming place with a nice and clean pool and the workers were really kind.

I pas my day on my lounge reading and I enjoyed the biggest pool , it open at 9 and closed at 7 so you can stay here all the day, it's forbidden only taking food and bottles from home and smoking close to the pool ( there are a smoking area near the bar).

The bar have a wide menu's choiche, salads, bread with ham and veggies, snacks and a lot of ice-cream and beverages.

I vote this pool 9/10 nine because in my opinion they must open more also on evening the place must look super on the twilight moment!
