Delayed But Not Denied: Manchester United Victory Against Crystal Palace

A new era began today as Manchester United ushered in a new interim manager in the person of Ralf Rangnick.
Honestly for me, I don’t understand his style of football, but from today’s opening, it looks like Manchester United are headed in the right direction.

After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked due to how the season started they’ve been a lot of questions on how Manchester United can stay on top, with little or no answer, as a fan you just want to see them play their best games and keep the goals coming.

This match against crystal palace was a game I couldn’t predict because I honestly thought the Red Devils were going to trash them and they’ll just have a good time but, the first half was an eye opener for me as crystal palace played close marking defense to the end but, the most shocking was the misses from Ronaldo, Fernandez,Sancho and Rashford was also doing some work here and there, I thought if those goals actually got in we would have been looking at 5-0 or more but luck was not just on their side.

This goes to show how football as a sport is so unpredictable because, the once small teams are showing the big teams that they can be beaten. A good example is how Westham humbled Chelsea in a strong battle yesterday and they ended up winning 3-2.

The second half of this match, I was honestly hoping for a surprise in the opening minutes but, it just continued going almost the same way first half had gone. There were more misses and I think the pressure was on the Manchester United players because they were home!
But not until that sweet pull back from Mason Greenwood which gave Fred access to find the net. It was just spectacular because it was just 13minutes remaining at the 77th minute of the match and after Jordan Ayew had just missed a defining moment for Crystal Palace missing to score by just a little margin.

Manchester United has just moved up the table to 6th place behind Tottenham and I hope it continues that way! As a fan you can only hope for the best for your team😜
For now I’m in the euphoria of this victory, because that’s all that matters for now, until we win again,
