Xcaret Mexico - My Actifit Report Card: November 2 2024

Spent the day at Xcaret on the Mexican Caribbean coast today. It’s kind of an eco-park, I guess you could call it but it’s unique and well worth it. There is so much to do here and one of the key elements of the park are the rivers that flow through it. They are all sea water and very much like the other local Cenotes.

We visited on a very special day in the Mexican calendar, Dia de los Muertes or Day of the Dead.

Manatees!! Yes never seen them before and these are part of a conversation programme.

I’m exhausted and have a camera full of photos and video to share as and when. I promise!!!

Very good day. Perhaps one of the best in my life!! I will go as far as saying that.

It was utterly incredible and topped off with a show at their auditorium that resembled a US ice-hockey arena but purpose built for the show which charted Mexican history from Mayan to the 1930s when Mexico became Mexico.

I’ve got so many videos I’m going to share them in parts over time.
