Troubling morning walk

prof_image_5279093.png
nicklewis just finished a 5.45km walk, that lasted for 71 minutes.
This walk helped nicklewis burn 283.0 calories.

Description from Strava: That was a strange walk this morning as I passed a Police cordon and a tent in a field, a blue one with forensics coming and going. Not pleasant. I pressed on, keeping up a brisk walking pace as I’m doing to lose some weight and boost my overall fitness. I want to take on some big hikes in the future maybe a Snowdon walk or something epic. I am also continuing my challenge for Movember, not facial hair, just aiming to munch through 60km and I’m close to doubling that. Going for the triple or quadruple!!

Troubled by the Police activity though and sadly someone must have been found dead just 10 meters from a well trodden path.

That is a bit ominous. Hope it doesn't put you off your walks.

I'm trying to make up lost time in my Movember. I won't be getting the sort of numbers I initially hoped for, but I'm getting out for some gentle walks now.

Sadly a body has been recovered from the field, they had come to rest on a footpath across the meadow. That’s all I know. People saw the private ambulance being loaded up this afternoon according to my stepdaughter who read it on Facebook.

We suspect it might have been a natural death due to just the small area being shut off.

So we’ve decided to let people know we are going out for a walk in that area for awhile and to be fair, wouldn’t walk it after dark.

Thanks for the Beer though.

How’s your back?

People do drop dead. It happened to my granddad who had a heart attack on his way home from art class. Still a shock for whoever finds them. I am wary of some remote tracks, but have never had serious issues. Have to watch out for some dogs.

I have been taking some walks and may do another now to get my body moving again. It will be dark soon, so better get a move on.

@steevc Sadly the deceased was only 28, the death unexplained and the Police aren’t releasing any more details till their next of kin has been informed; which they are having problems with and have urged the public not to speculate on social media

Speculating is rarely productive when you don't have all the details. Some people will do it anyway.

Facebook gossip is the worst!!

A local FB group can really show up who the gossip-mongers are. They need their own groups.
