Missing the Macros - My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2025
Today was a travel day as the busiest week of the Season is upon me which made the day quite a mess on getting things done. I was up really early so my sleep schedule will be the first thing to suffer. However, I was able to escape after the work day to head to the hotel gym right after checking in. I could not do much much I think I was able to get enough weight training to remain around maintenance. More events even made the daily goal wait until later in the night as I paced at the hotel to ensure I got that done.
What I was surprised about was that for the first time since tracking my diet, I was unable to get my Protein intake around my goal. It was mainly due to me not having my snacks in between meals as it was very busy for me at work. I had snacks in my bag but I thought that my meals which were all at restaurants would get me the needed protein. I tried to go to the market downstairs to see if they had a protein drink before bed but the hotel did not have any. I guess I will need to catch up tomorrow with an early morning hearty breakfast.
